Fees and Payments

INSURANCES COVERED IN THE OFFICE ARE MOST COMMERCIAL INSURANCES, MEDICARE, AND SEVERAL LOCALLY USED EAPS. PLEASE BE ADVISED THE OFFICE IS NOT SET UP AT THIS TIME TO TAKE MEDICAID. PLEASE CALL YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY TO VERIFY YOUR SPECIFIC COVERAGE AND PREFERRED PROVIDER. 

Cost of therapy sessions are dependent of the provider that you are seeing. The range is between 115 - 195 each 50 minute session for individuals, and 90-195 for 50 mins of couples therapy, pending on the provider. Some sliding scale appointments are available with providers. For a good faith estimate of cost for treatment, it is good to know that many clients are either seen weekly or twice a month for a range of time, pending on treatment goals. Therapy can be stopped by the client at any time. To protect clients from large bills, clients are informed of the price of sessions prior to scheduling and payment is required at time of session.

At Turning Tides, at this time, most contracted therapists accepts self payments through cash, check, and most credit cards (for credit cards, contact your provider ahead of time). There is a fee for cancelled personal checks.  On request, Superbills will be provided for any session. Superbills are the receipts utilized by insurance companies for out of network providers for patient reimbursement. Please contact the office with any additional questions regarding fees or payments.
